OEM Running boards

2002, z71, Extended Cab.

 

Looking to put on some running boards. I want to go with a stock look. This means black, non-lighted abs or simular product. No Bars.

 

Does anybody have any suggestions based on personal use or experience?

If you have some please let me know what you like, dis-like, how much they were, and where you got them.

 

Also, has anyone ever heard of using the boards off of a tahoe for an extended cab pickup. Wonder how or if this would work.

GM Part number 12497518 are what your looking for.

They are a black grained texured finish cab-length running board just like the ones that are on the Tahoes/Suburbans.

They have the bed peices available also if you want a "full-length" board.

Whoa!!!...I don't buy chit from the dealers if I don't have to. I appriciate your advice but I don't want to spend 600+ on some plastic running boards.

 

Looking for more along the 200.00 dollar mark.

The truck cab doesn't have the mounts on the body that the Yukon/Tahoe does.

Yep,Just what 99-2door said,The trucks don't have the mounts on the bottom of the rocker panels needed like the Tahoes have.

I don't know if your goin' find anything for around $200.00 bucks.
