Don't waste your money. The only thing spacers are good for is making someone else rich !!!

 

Save your money and get a custom tune. If you don't already have 'em, electric fans are good. Depending on your needs, underdrive pulleys aren't bad. Headers and a quality exhaust will help.

 

But, a tune alone will give you as much, if not more, power as all the other mods combined. And boost economy too

How much fuel economy can I get out of a custom tune on my 8.1L? Is it really noticeable? Westers the best to go with?

I've heard of the biggest increases in mpg on the 8.1 compared to the 6.0 and 5.3 engines. I usually hear the 8.1's getting around 2-3 more mpg. Wester's is one of the better if not the best. They have been in the business for the longest if that helps any
