I bought the Monster cable @ Best Buy. It plugs into the cigarette lighter for the power source and YOU select a radio signal on channels 88.1-89.9, I believe.

I usually go with the channel that has NO or weak radio play as it will deliver the best reception/sound for the iPOD. This is a great system for playing your iPOD and I've used it for the past year and a half. Hope this helps!
