I would highly recommend these to everyone. I ordered a set for my 91 and for my 04 Crew and just installed the ones for the 04. They are very easy to install and should prevent people from just using a screw driver to open the door. At least now they will have to break a window and make some noise, hopefully they will choose an easier vehicle. If you are ever going to replace your door handles, I would definately do these at the same time. It will add 0 time to the install.

Incredibly easy on my 04. Takes about 10 minutes to install. The hardest part would be figuring out how to remove the door panel if you never done it.

Installing the plates is as simple as swapping door hanldes, takes less than one hour to do a pair of doors

Jimmi Jammer, Car alarms, they are all deterrants. Of course if someone wants in bad enough they will just break the window, why mess with a wedge block??

Going between the door handle and the door skin is a very common method of entry for many vehicles including Ford, Dodge Ram and GM Trucks. Why not use something to stop them there?

Yeah. Spend the extra money on stuff that will make your truck look more attractive to crooks. I'd say whatever will deter a thief is a pretty good investment.
