Do I HAVE to use autoride shocks???

Instead of replacing the autoride shocks, can I use conventional shocks, like bilstiens? I don't really care if I have the autoride feature or not, it's on my 2002 yukon XL 2500. No reason why I can't do this, is there???

Thanks...Kevin

I just read an article in one of the truck mags (Truckin, I think) and they lowered an Escalade and they said the owner chose not to go with autorid and went with regular shocks. So, sounds like it's no problem.
