G80 Issue?

So yesterday the streets were wet (the first time in a LONG time we got any rain here in Dallas). As I was going around a corner, the rear broke loose and I assume the G80 kicked in. I didn't get above 20 mph before I turned into a parking lot, and as I was turning I could hear the rear tires groaning (like they were locked together). As I pulled into a parking spot, I could here the front tires squelling, like they were being pushed. Isn't the rear end supposed to unlock? Or is this only after reaching 20 mph?

Only after hitting 20 MPH. The G80's sometimes Lock regardless of speed also AND they have been known to not lock when you need them.
