There are "zillions"of these things now, since the novelty is no longer there. But, you might try digging here: http://www.google.com/search?q=spray+in+li...:en-US:official
Lodogg2221 Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I looked into the spray ins and settled on Line-X for its uniform finish. Then did some more research. Id have torn it up by now, I haul lots of nasty stuff sometimes, and spray ins dont like having sharp metal drapped over them, so I ended up with a Penda Skid Resistor drop in liner. Its rubbery, not slick like the rest. Also half the price. Unless your dead set on spray in, you might check them out.....
AKvsAR Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 I put Herculiner brand roll on bediner in my 99 Sierra 1500. It was $80.00 for a 1 gallon kit. I threw in a couple rolls of razor wire in the bed and dragged it out, without scratches. The really nice thing about it is that it has rubber pellets inside of the coating to give it texture. I highly reccomend it. You can get it online, or at AutoZone.
Ape0r Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 I have a Line-X and LOVE IT. Had a drop-in on my old truck, doesn't even come close to comparing on looks or texture. Only downside is that over-the-rail on my 8' box cost d**n near $500. You may not want to spend that much, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat tho. Probably going to get my grille gaurd covered in Line-X at some point as well.
fossil Posted December 4, 2005 Author Posted December 4, 2005 Thanks for the input, I got a Line X product over the weekeend. Looks great. Now, ..I wonder if that stuff would be good undercoating a truck?
LogixRat Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Post up some pics for us to see! In regards to the underbody coating I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you don't want to spend the $$$ to have Line-X do it again, I'd suggest the Herculiner stuff previously mentioned. Several guys in my local Jeep club sprayed this stuff into their Jeep tubs with good results. It's cheap and seems to be a good product from what I've heard.
