1992 GMC Topkick Dump Truck

i'm not getting 12vdc back to the reverse lights (white) and audible alarm when i put the xmission in reverse.

 

i've applied 12vdc directly to the wires, via the terminal board forward of the rear bumper and all reverse lights and chirp alarm work fine.

 

i'm not blowing the 10amp fuse located inside the driver's door under the dash.

 

i'm guessing that there is some sort of mechanical / electrical switch in the xmission that routes 12vdc back to the back-up lights. does anyone know where this switch is located? i've only located one switch after searching for hours. the switch i found routes 12vdc to the starter solenoid for the Neutral / park selection (so i can't start the truck in gear)

 

any help in locating the switch would be greatly appreciated.
