What are these?

Hope I put this in the right forum...

What are them plastic ducts under the rear seat in a crew cab for? (Right behind the metal plate) Does it hurt to put stuff in front of them? I ususally keep gloves and gear under the seats, and I'm worried it might hinder air flow or something...

Also, does anyone else have problems with just the driver's side window fogging up constantly? Whenever it's below 60* or so, it's always foggy. The rear driver's side isn't nearly as bad, but still annoying. I've tried not breathing, but only works until I pass out! :D I have to keep the vents on the windshield and the fan on 2. Are those vents in the rear connected to my problem? I've tried moving stuff, but nothing works...

Any help?

Those are the vent for the cab to let the air pressure out of the cab.

If you look between the bed of the truck and the cab you can see where they exit.

I noticed on a hot summer day when I was standing outside of my truck talking to a friend and I had the truck running and AC on full blast. I could feel the cold air coming

out.
