90 GMC Sierra, radio options

I have a 90 GMC Sierra. Is there a radio that will fit in the location of the stock radio? I don't really want to put it in the center section where the old tape player is as I really don't think that looks very good. I'll take suggestions for aftermarket radios even if they are not made anymore. I figure anything would be a great upgrade from what is in there now.

The stock radio consists of three components: 1) The control head or face (LED display and setting controls) 2) The receiver box under the dash just to the right of the steering column and 3) the cassette/graphic equalizer in the center of the dash. The only options I know of are this stock set up (look on eBay) or an after market unit in the cassette/graphic equalizer location. Scosche makes a dash kit for the after market radio installation and there is a black plastic storage pocket made to fit in place of the control head.

yea....the pocket in the old radio spot is pretty much your only option. These days you can get a great radio (MP3, XM Ready) for next to nothing, but the only place it fits is in the old tape deck spot. I don't even have the pocket in mine, and I jsut got used to having a dead radio. If your worried about the amount of reach to change tracks, radio stations ect like I was (do a lot of Highway driving in Houston) just get one that has a good remote. Pioneer makes the best car radio IMO for the money.
