Is it full of grout?

 

Sorry for all the questions...I have a buddy that's looking for a new block for his jet boat.

 

 

 

I dont understand full of grout?

Its a complete long block.I ran it in my jet boat The complete set up pulled my jet at 81 mph @5300 rpms.Motor has less than 20 hrs on it.

$2750.00 for the complete short block and oil pan.Its a dooley Jet boat pan.

Grout... Called by a few different names...Basically, you fill the coolant passages with a hardening agent in order to strengthen the block for higher horsepower marine environments. You can't do it in a street motor because (obviously) you have to actually have a full cooling system in a car.

 

He runs about 1500 hp, and is hitting around 127-130 on the big end...At least he was, until his block cracked.

 

This is my next door neighbor BTW. I'll let him know what you have in the next couple of days. :cheers:

This pass was for the win in his class at Ft. Cobb last year. 127 mph.

I moved and bought a new house.Its costing me a bit more and makes it a bit tight.So thats why I am selling my toys.

The only thing I think I dont have a pic of.....lol

They are at a buddies place.He was going to powder coat them for me red.never did it though so they are still polished.I am asking exactly what I paid for them 4 months ago.I will see if i can get him to snap a couple shots and send them to me.They are used but in good shape.I was happy when they showed up.
