I have an 05 silverado, the silverado emblem on the tailgate is the problem. It looks like at the one corner the adhesive is not working. Any solutions? Will it come off completly or will it be fine? Very small area not sticking maybe 1/16-1/8 of an inch. Thanks guys!

you can always get some emblem glue from walmart or something, silicone works well too. Or you could just take it off altogether and clean up the tailgate.

That started happening to my 01 silverado too. So I just got bored one night and took everything off of the tailgate and then I couldn't stop myself. I removed the protective stripping off the sides as well as the LS badges and the 1500 badges. I really didn't like the protective stripping on the Silverado, but I do like the ones that the Sierras have. So I just debadged my whole truck except for the Chevy emblem on the front and the Z71 stickers on the side. I really liked the way it turned out, makes the truck look a lot cleaner. But if you really like it you can glue it back down or even get a replacement one from a dealership or check ebay as well.
