Been, thinking about it. Had a chance two months ago to pick up two sleds w/ trailer for $4,500. While I was researching the sled models, someone scooped'em up.

Where do you go "up-north?" I always hear central Indiana people talking about going up to Michigan to ride.

You guys with snow have to rub it in don'tcha. Bought a left over 700 Sabercat in Nov and was rarin to ride. Up-state Maine got dumped on hard at X-mas and rode for 3 days up there. What a blast. Than bought a left over 600XCSP at the end of Dec, must have really pissed off the weather Gods. All it's done since is RAIN. Been 50 degrees and rain almost twice a week since the first of the year. I'm really depressed, almost suisidal. PLEASE SOME SNOW.....

Thanks for lettin me vent.

I was wondering what oil do you guys run? I have two individuals that like the AMSOIL Interceptor oil. Just was curious as to what you run and if anyone has run the Interceptor oil and what you thought of it.

If you want to read up on it you can check out the specs here.

Thanks

Thanks Mike for rubbing it in again!!

I have been to the Hoop, and not a bad place at all! The lake is a blast. My first 120 mph ride was on Gogibic! Also, been to lake of the clouds and Superior! Some friends of mine just got back from a trip up north. Looking at many of your pictures is like a flashback to last year for me!

In a hurry, I will post more later, but I have a great place for you to stay next time you go.

Yup, I do. Best part is I get furnished with a sled and paid to do it.

Got about 20 new inches the past 2 days. About 3 1/2 feet at the house and 10+ up on the pass that's 12 miles away.

Buried myself last weekend. Weather was too warm and the snow was getting pretty rotten. I was taking a shortcut over a hill and was almost to the top when the machine just sank. Took forever to dig it out.

You gotta fill me in on this!! I need YOUR job!!

Mike, we always stay at the Great Northern in Mercer WI. I swear, this is the very best place to stay. Ride up thru Ironwood, over to Gogebic, up to Ontagon, White Pine, and even Houghton. Mercer to Houghton and back is a very good ride for one day! A ride up to Superior is also a very good ride and back for a single day.

Other places to check out when on Gogebic is the Root Cellar and the Pine Lodge. Both just south of the Hoop-n-Hollar, one on the west side, the other on the east. There are also a ton of great places to eat, in Mercer and just a couple miles out on the trail.

I gotta get up there this year!

There's an oil that is shaking up the snowmobile community around here. Blue Marble. They make some pretty ambitious claims and everyone who uses it becomes a salesman. Supposed to be the "best"

I know a few people who used it but do not find it any different than any other oil.
