Opinions Wanted

I just Upgraded my RPO UM7 Stereo Radio to an RPO UB0 AM/FM/CD Unit. This is a better sounding unit then the UM7, I was surprised by the difference.

 

My question is, I'd now like to upgrade the speakers without spending a lot of money. I have a regular cab. I checked out a regular cab that came from the factory with the UB0 unit, and discovered it came with the same speaker system that is in my truck (UQ5).

 

I've been looking at the Blaupunkt PCxb652 (6.5") for the doors and PCxb462 (4"X6") for the "B" Pillar. Any opinions on this. Has anyone done this?

 

I can get a complete installation kit from Crutchfield shipped for about $125.00.

I'd say no on the Blaupunkt stuff. Those speaker sizes will work for the doors and B pillars, but I'd go with a different brand.

I ordered a set of Pioneers this morning. TS-G1640R for the doors and TS-G4641R for the "B" Pillar. Hope I made the right choice.
