I need to stiffen up my jimmy

I have a 2001 gmc jimmy 4-door sle 4x4. My wife drives the truck most of the time. She is normaly on the highway, but we also need to to our camper (4000lbs). The problem is the truck rides and handels way to soft. I am looking for any ideas on sway bars or ends, shocks, and tires.

If you want a stiffer ride, I'd suggest Rancho shocks and maybe some all-terrain LT-type tires.

I stiffen up my Jimmy with a little blue pill.........Oh, you mean the truck!!! LOL

 

Shocks will make the biggest difference, stiffer, lower profile tires will help too. Next step would be sway bars to stop the body roll on corners. New stiffer springs would be anothr option.
