Power Window Trouble

Driver door window won't go down. I pulled the switch assembly and I've got power in both the up and down positions when I activate the switch. I'm thinking it's the motor, but I wanted to check the wiring connections at the motor first. I'm having trouble getting the door panel off. Any helpful hints for the door panel or other suggestions for diagnosis? Thanks.

You have to remove the switch assembly, remove the light down at the bottom by gently lifting one end(forgot which end), remove the piece that covers the mirror bolts, remove the two screws that are in the top of the handle you use to close the door from the inside, and then pull around the edges of the panel to release the clips. The clips can break very easily so be careful. Then lift up and out. Ask if you have any more questions.

Thanks. I'm kind of torn right now. With good power on either side of the switch, there's only two things it could be: a bad connection at the motor, or a bad motor. If I pull the door panel now and find good voltage at the motor, then I'll have to put it all back together and order a motor. Then I'll have to tear it apart again to fix it. Or, I could order the $75.00 motor now and just tear into it once and replace it. But, I don't want to waste $75.00 if I don't have to. It may be worth it though if I don't have to tear it apart twice, and I could always send the new one back or sell it on eBay. I guess I'll have to flip a coin.
