Tahoe Interior Differences

BIGHURT

Question

I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. I have 3 kids. So the interior is kinda worn...well dirty and stained.

I have been looking to replace it with either new cloth covers like they are now, or leather.

However, I see that seat covers are listed completely differently.

Some say 2000-2005. Some say 2001-2002, and yet some say 2003-2005.

My question is, What is the difference?

Is there a difference in the size of the seats?

Is there a difference in the padding of the seats?

Or is it simply that the pattern from year to year changes. :shakehead: If so, big deal. I am replacing all the covers if I have to.

Will covers from a 2003 or 2005 fit on my 2001 seats?

Are the shapes the same or different making it impossible to do such a switch?

I want to know before I buy something that will not fit.

The only differences between seats on all full size GMT800 series trucks are the options and patterns / colors / materials of the seat covers. Frames and padding are all the same. To keep it simple find the matial you want from whatever year and it should fit your seat no problem.
