I've got a 2003 sierra 1500. I've put a flowmaster exhaust, and a k&n cold air intake system on it. I've noticed no increase in power possibly a decrease. and the fuel milage has droped a couple mpg under the same driving habbits. what could i do to fix this, does the computer need to be retuned to accept the new airflow if so will they do that at the dealership. I was thinking of getting a magnaflow bolt on instead of my flow master would it make a difference what is the best brand to go with

What size is your exhaust? did you put on high flow cats? is it true dual exhaust?

Only additional thing Id ask is for Codes, but the cat back vs. cat replace should answer that.. Line of thought?: 02 sensor, that would throw a code, eh? 02 sensor, new exhaust.. leaning or riching it out = power loss.. Whats the old saying... lean burns your eyes, rich stinks? Or do I have that backwards again...

 

but I digress.. reading too much into it without complete information..
