Here's the write up.

 

It was plenty exciting in the Dwarf Division when the #30 of Mike Evans was taken out of the race on the starting lap. The 01, 03, and 30 got tangled up on the start leaving Mr Evans in the wall in turn 3. The #03 of Kent Kantor was sent to the rear of the field, but instead he gave us all the #1 sign and was suspended for two weeks for inappropriate behavior. Last years Champion, Doug Bullington jumped out for the early lead and held on until lap 19 when newcomer James Yount completed the pass and took home his first win! Bullington held on for second, Kent Guthrie third, and Kevin Brewer took home fourth. James Yount also won the heat race, giving him a clean sweep in that division.

 

 

I don't know if I could have caught him if someone hadn't spun. I was still in third on the restart with 8 to go. Took me 2 laps to get into 2nd. He had me by 8-10 lengths. I nosed past him on the white flag. Came across the line sideways foot in it at the wall 1 length ahead. Took me 5 strts to get a win. Had a blast.
