vibration in gas pedal

Has anyone had any problems or heard of any problems with the gas pedal while in cruise control? If my foot gets anywhere near the gas pedal I can feel a strong vibration. There is no difference what speed or rpm my truck is at. It doesn't seem to be causing any problems with anything, just an annoyance.

If you can feel vibration only when the cruise is on, maybe the cruise is sensing some alternating current in the 12 supply...your alternator might be in the process of failing.

 

Put an ac voltmeter on your cigarette lighter socket and see if you're getting any ac volts while the engine is running.
