2005 Front Brakes Wear

I have around 20000 miles on my 2005 Work Truck. I noticed while rotating my tires that the drivers side front rotor appears to be wearing faster than the passenger side. The pads look to be about the same thickness without taking caliper off. I was wondering how many miles before brake pads on the 2005 and newer 1/2 tons? I went over 60,000 on my '99, that I towed with.

As for brake wear, It all depends on your driving habits and if you do alot of towing. Also the type of pads. For instance On one of my trucks, I pray I get 30k miles on the brakes, and on the other truck 20K and they still look like new.

For the rotors, I get a caliper and check the thickness. There probably the same If you were wearing one rotor down faster than the other , you should have more break wear on that set of pads.
