stock HU frequency range?

first - apologies if this has been covered a million times already - I may not have done the proper search.

Ok, was searching through the radio section about line out converters and cmae across a post where someone was saying that the stock HU did not pass through all of the frequencies????

 

my 2001 silvy has the base model stock HU, not Bose, Monsoon or anything fancy. pretty much a stock CDplayer

 

anyone know if the entry level stocker outputs full range? or what that range is???

Should be 20hz to 20khz...It's the Bose amps that screw it all up.

 

But I'm not 100% on that...I've been known to make things up from time to time, and convince my own brain that these things are true.
