How Much Oil Does Front Axle Hold?

How much oil does the front axle of the Tahoe 4wd hold? I am replacing the front and rear. I found a thread indicating a little over 2 quarts for the rear, but can't find info on the front. Cannot find it in the owner's manual either. Thanks in advance!

If my memory is correct, I think it is less than 1 qt for the front.
