Front Brake recall

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 2wd extended cab. Had the front brake hose abrasion campaign performed on it in July of 2000. Does anybody know what was supposed to be performed during that recall? I got home and my brakes went to the floor. Get out look and the brake hose going to the front passenger side caliper is worn through caused by the stock rim. Front brakes have never been replaced- only has 30000. The lip of the the stock aluminum rim wore right through the brake hose. If you have this same year truck take a look at this ASAP.
