What's this hose?

I found this vacuum hose unconnected on my 98 Blazer.I plugged it,the engine was surging slightly on light acceleration,it's fine now.The hose is part of a system originating at the throttle body,tee's off into a hard plastic line between the ABS hardware and the relay box.Another hose disappears under the body by the bellhousing.The 4x4 works ok as does everything else,

Any idea where it goes??? What's this hose???

Does your cruise work? I don't recall if the cruise module was on that side or the other side on the late-model S-10 series...

 

Are you positive the 4x4 works? How did you test?

Hi,I tested the 4x4 by spinning the tires on my dirt driveway,lol. I found what appears to be a vacuum cannister concealed in the fender,now the hose has a home.
