Just a really quick question. I am still getting used to the site and the search function, so bear with me.

I just wanted to know if the suspensions of the the 1/2, 3/4, and 1 tons are interchangeable. I just want t a little more clearance and ride height, but not as much as I would get with a lift. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the eye to eye spring measurement on all the NBS trucks is the same(64") except for the 1/2 ton RCSB. As far as front suspension, all the trucks under 8600GVW should be the same and anything over that is the same. The front suspension is not interchangeable between 1/2 and 3/4, 1 ton, however the rear springs are as long as you have the same eye to eye measure as the vehicle you are removing them from except as noted.

No, the ifs front ends are not interchangeable. You can get couple inches of lift in the front from Ford Keys to level out your truck or even go a little higher. In the back you can either use an aal, a larger block, or I hear that you can get an inch or two using hd springs(measure eye to eye distance like he said). These will give you anywhere from about 1-3 inches.

I would personally just put on a 3 inch body lift(some years have a 2 inch one). With this you keep the stock ride qualities.

I have Ford Keys, 3 inch body lift, and 33's. I love it!

Thanks for the replys from both of you. The reason why I was asking is because I would like to keep my truck as stock looking as possible and just mod the motor. I will look into some kind of lift kit then I guess.
