switched battery power

Hi I am trying to find a place that i can get a switched battery power to run my satellite radio and radar detector I want it to stay on as long as the radio is on but shut off when the doors are open or after the time delay. any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very technical so any help would be greatly appreciated i thought about tieing inot the radio power but i do not really want to do this. I noticed there are several open connections on the electrical panel under the dash i was wondering if i could get a harness that plugs into one of them that might give me what i am lloking for

if i where you i would look for the radio circut and tap into it as that retains power untill a door is open.
