Good Price?

My Dad found this truck for sale;

2002 Chevy K2500 Suburban

6.0L 4x4, Leather (LT, I'm guessing)

54,000 miles

Comes with plow

$19,000

I'm guessing gas prices are what caused the sale, but this seems like a good deal, yes?

Thanks,

Not a bad price at all. If it were a stand up rig, I would jump. The only thing that makes me nervous is the plow. Was it plowed with a sensible driver or a cowboy with an attitude.

Not a bad price at all BUT DO have it inspected before you buy it!

Don't go off of what they said, have it inspected by a different dealer/auto repair place.

Good call, both of you...I guess I really hadn't thought about the vehicle history. We need a "plow truck" to replace the '90 suburban we're currently limping along, so when I heard this thing already had a plow installed, my ears perked up a bit. Putting a plow on a vehicle could be up to $5000 (?), so this sounded attractive. But, if the previous owner used it to plow a large parking lot or drive 200 miles up north with the plow on to clear out the driveway to his/her ski chalet, well...then I guess the transmission would not last too long.

Thanks for the comments thus far.
