Questions on fog lamp installaion 2006 GMC WT

Picked up my fog lamp kit today, two questions: 1) what's the preferred method of cutting out the hole in the fascia, and 2) the instructions states "insert the fog lamp wiring harness terminal into D6", however in the illustration/drawing of the underside of the connector it appears they have A3 circled as "FOG LAMP TERMINAL (page 6 of 18)?

 

Any and all help would be appreciated.

I have personal experience installing two of the systems and the best way is:

 

1) Use a rotozip to cut out the hole in the fascia. Take your time and you'll have a perfect hole that does the job.

 

2) I recall when installing both systems of the same experience. If you look on the bottom of the harness and then the top, you'll see what they mean. It is rather confusing but you'll see what I mean.
