What Tires Do I Buy???

I've got a Z71 with 285's on the stock rims.  I think that they fill out the wheel wells perfectly and look great.  They are Bridgestone Dueler AT's.  I'm looking at buying some 18 inch rims for my truck but can't find any tires that are the least bit aggressive of the same comparable size.  I need help.  In the year I've had my truck i've hardly taken it off road, (I baby it) but occasionally I do need the traction of an all terrain tire.  Do any of you have any thoughts, or ideas?  I'd really rather go for some 16's or 17's, but I can't find any rims that I like.  It seems like all the nice ones are big (18+).  Thanks for the help.

 

I'm currently looking at the MKW 18 rim.

I found tires like the Nitto Terra Grappler, and the Toyo Open Country AT, but don't know much about them.  The 285's I've got now don't rub at all, and all my suspension is stock including the torsion bars.  If I was to get the Nitto or Toyo tires how big do you think I could go?  I'd like for them to be about the exact same size as the ones on it now, give or take a half an inch or so.  Thanks again.

I recently put a set of LT285/75R16 Nitto Terra Grappler A/T's on my 2000 Silverado.  These are the best tires I have ever owned.  They are quiet, smooth, and have excellent wet and dry traction.  Plus, they are very aggressive looking.  The set I have don't rub at all and are mounted on the stock Chevrolet rims.  Nitto does offer two sizes in 18" rims.  I'm not for certain but I think the 325 would be too wide and might rub.
