over sized tires

I have a 2003 Silverado 2500HD , 4x4, crew cab with towing package that I use to haul our 12,000 fifth wheel camper.

It's time for new tires and I am considering a set of Goodyear Wranglers with the Kevlar belt. I am presently running 10 ply, LT24575R16's, and would like to go to either a 255 or 265 10 ply. Other than having to replace the spare tire, would I run into any problems by going up one or two sizes?

I changed tires to a larger size...just had to have the computer reprogrammed for ABS and speedometer.

Where do you go to have the speedo and Abs reprogrammed

The ABS can be reprogrammed right in the shop with a Tech 2, as long as the size is listed. The PCM (speedo) can only be reprogrammed with a tire size that was available as standard equipment or as an option from the factory. No other tire sizes are supported and would have to be programmed with some aftermarket gizmo.
