Upgrading your Denali is easy. I just did my 2003 Denali about a month ago. All you need is a luxury head unit, part # 15800001 is the latest model # I believe. You'll also need a GPS Antenna. can this model play DVD's upfront as well. I seem to recall something about unlocking the head unit to play DVD's up front and also to disable the in-motion lock out

On that model, you can get an adapter to play video on the screen via an external source (iPod video or DVD player). But I don't think you can use the built-in DVD player to play DVDs.
