rear end blew up

The rear end on my 97 yukon blew out last night. i have the oppertunity to order whatever gear i want and was wondering what a good choice would be...however if i change the rear gear will my truck have a problem when its in 4wd?

Since you have a 4x4, if you change the rear gear ratio you HAVE to change the front gear ratio as well, otherwise you will create terrible driveline bind and basically be unable to use 4 wheel drive. I would definately recommend sticking with the gear ratio you're taking out, or fork over the extra cash to have the front redone as well.
