sun visor with the slide outs

My 2000 silvy has the regular sun visors...........it doesn't have those slide out sections to make them cover a wider area of the window. I find most of the time when the sun is on my drivers side.......the visor is useless because it only covers 3/4 of the window and the sun is always in a spot where the visor won't cover.

 

So my question is, does anyone know if the bolt patern that holds the visor on, I believe its only 3 screws, if its the same on all new body styly GM's?......I would like to get replace my visors with the ones that have extensions.......I might be able to find some at a wrecking yard.

My '02 had the ones that slid out. You should be able to find a set, and they should bolt right up.

If you can find a set from a Yukon, they have the double sun visors.

Or at least my YukonXL does.

Not sure though if they will be a direct replacement.

My buddy's big old Chevy conversion van with the flapping fenders used to have them. Really nice when the sun was setting and blaring right at you.

 

I havent seen him too much in a decade or so...something about predator catching and Dateline NBC.
