Finally getting the oil leakS fixed

Stupid dumb@ss dealer. 8 trips, lots of leaking in the carport and they finally agree that it's leaking oil.

Both valve cover gaskets

Oil pan

Oil filter Adapter

 

Really makes me wander about quality with only 19k on the clock.

Why would you need an extended waranty? your truck is 2004, that's like 2 years old I thought any car/truck nowdays has 4 year/50000mi waranty on power-train easy .

 

I am seriuosly looking at the new Silveraod but would wait until Tundra comes out anyway, but if I need an extended waranty for this well I'll be singing "This is our country but Chevy is not my truck" back to John Mellencamp.

GM didn't start their longer warrenty until the 2007 model year. Anything before that has a 3 year/36k mile warrenty.

yeah. any GM model 2007 and on carries a 100K mi/5 yr powertrain warranty. Why is this post in the gmt900 forum?

Warranty is up in March of 07.

 

I need to get the ext. warranty by the end of Dec. before the new price sheets roll out.
