Fog Lights

I have read in other forums that it is possible for the dealership to progam the fog lights to stay on with the high beams. Is that correct?

the foglights CAN be made to stay on with the high beams. but generally it isn't suggested (some states are illegal) I have heard of several processes where you replace resistors and a few other items - otherwise you can set up a second relay that kicks in with the high beam and turns on the fogs that way.

on my car I had fogs which were pretty much useless - so instead I wired in a set of driving lights, I didn't want to deal with a switch on the dash, or accidentally leaving them on and killing the battery so I used a relay to turn them on and off with the low beams. a variation on the setup so that the lights were on regardless of high or low woudl have been to tap the auto-headlamp line to energize the relay whenever the headlights were on. or you could probably use a relay connected to the parking lights. they're on regardless of highs or lows.

He asked if the dealer can program the fog lights to keep them on with high beams. The answer to that question is still NO. If you want to do some wiring or if there's a kit of some sort, then yeah, it can probably be done.
