Yay another noob!

Haha, hey guys. I recently bought a 79 jimmy with a target 350 in it(about 12 000km on it) and a brand new 2 inch exhaust. I bought it for $500, and later found the recepit for the exhaust, which was $400 haha. The body is toast, holes throughout all the rear 1/4 panels, tailgate you can see right into the truck, the front 1/4's are dented, floorboards have some holes in them. All the important stuff works great though. I bought it for something to drive after I hit a curb in my car after our first snowfall..And let's just say the curb won..Now, I am having thoughts of starting to put some money into the truck as it's growing on me. I am just wondering if someone on this board is doing something similar, or if anyone can point me in the right direction? Oh, and I almost forgot my other performance mod, flipped air cleaner lid .
