what kind of hp

I have a 2000 5.3L silverado z71 ext cab 4x4, but i dont know my hp. what do you think i have. My truck has MAF sensor,KN air filter stock air box, twin electric fans, E3 spark plugs, upgraded ignition wires, jet porformance programming(?). And i would like to upgrade the cam.

Stock is between 285-295.

Only way to tell is to put it on a dyno, but then that'll just tell you estimated HP at the wheels.

More than likely, you're pushing at least 20-30hp more....but I don't believe there is a way to gaurentee that.

As it sits.... Id say 230-244 at the wheels with Torque Management in full swing

 

Cam is an easy swap. Itll run and drive alot different for sure. Depending on the cam, the JET programmer wont suffice. Youll need a custom tune done.
