99 Tahoe, 4WD, 4door, 5.7L

 

After replacing the fuel pump a year ago, i am having problems with it turning off radomly. I pulled the wiring harness apart, thinking that i could re-pin it, only to find out that the new harness comes already built. I was smart enough to write down what color wire went with what letter on the harness before i started, but I lost the paper i wrote it on.

 

I am looking for a wiring diagram to tell me what color goes with what letter.

I looked the diagram over, and this may me a dumb question, but the wiring harness i have has two blacks (one thicker than the other) a grey and a purple/white wire going into it.

 

From the diagram, it looks like the gray goes with "B" and the black with "A", but i can't figure out which of the two blacks is "B" and what letter the purple/white should connect too.

 

This could just be my inability to read the diagram.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Never mind on those other wires, i found out what they are from a friend who knows a friend who works at GM.

 

White and Purple - A - Fuel Level

Gray - B - Motor Feed

Big Black - C - Ground

Little Black - D - Sensor Return
