4 wheel drive not working

i have a 1991 gmc k2500 got it with no right side cv axle. i just got one from a wrecking yard. got it put in and in 4 high going straight it felt like it was pulling side to side kind of like turning to tight on dry ground the guy i got it from said it had a bad front diff does this sound like that any help to get this tracked down

Is it possible that it has an LSD or locker that is locking up, and that's why he removed the axle?

Its possible to that they got the wheel aligned w/o the axle on, and it might have thrown everything off. Just a possibilty.

just got truck alingned and still have the same ting going on could it be the front diff

Check your tire diameter. You can do this by painting a strip on all 4 tires and rolling straight forward a few revolutions and seeing if they are close to the same spot. If they check out OK, post back.
