Can anyone tell me where to find the Blue Auxiliary/Electric brake circuit wire ? I am going to install a Brake Controller on my 1998 Silverado. I have located the blue wire and the orange auxiliary circuit wire at the rear left frame but cannot find it under the dash. Thanks for any info.

on my 97 silverado it didnt come with the trailor brake wiring, i dont think that year did at all, same for the 98 which is just about the same, friends got a 98, anyways when i put mine in i had to run the wires to the hitch and run them for the controler itself, just look under the hood in the fuse box, if there is no fuse for it then you dont have it for your truck, meaning you'll have to get wire and run it yourself

If you have the wires at the back, then they are under the HOOD, below the brake booster, probably in a tight little roll and stuffed under something else. Get a good light and do a little digging. You'll find it. When you do, there's a couple great places to hook the AUX 12V line up right there at the fuse box. You'll have to drill a small hole for the blue brake wire, but it's pretty easy to see where the best place for that is.
