2003 Sierra Wheel compatability

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra 4-wheel drive work truck. I was trying to put some decent wheels on that a friend gave me from his suburban. It has the base wheels on it right now. Te tire sizes are different but rim sizes appear to be both 16x7. However new wheels don't fit, especially on the rear. If I was able to post a picture I could show you both wheels.

The wheels I am trying to put on are these:

The vehicle they cam off could've been a 2WD but I don't know (long story). However I don't see anywhere @WD and $WD versions of these wheels. Can anyone help me understand why they don't fit?

Thanks,

I would guess that they don't fit b/c you are taking a wheel off a different body style truck to put on yours. The 93-99's were not only a different body style, but different dimensions in the wheel well, spindle and suspension area, brakes, etc. Although the bolt pattern and hub size may be the same, other things such as brakes and steering components are likely getting in your way.

If you wanna find a stock wheel to replace your base wheels you should prob try something from the 99-07 Classic styles.
