Hypertech Owners

Anyone have a hypertech power pogrammer for their 6.0L.  I am considering buying one but have heard mixed results.  I am mostly looking for power upgrades when towing.  Any fuel mileage affects, etc.  Your opinions will greatly help, thanks.

Have used Hypertech programmars on 2 different vehicles, '95 Tahoe & '99 Z71.  Both units delivered as advertised.  Power for towing was the major noticable imporvement.  Fuel mileage did increase (especially when towing) but not enough to off-set the 20 cents per gallon additional cost.  Other positive features, easy to install and remove, raise computer speed limit and the ability to correct speedometer when changing tire sizes was really helpful.

I have one for my 6.0L and yes i noticed a difference.I mainly bought it to correct my tire size so my speed ometer would be correct.i noticed the biggest difference when towing my travel trailer,hope this helps........Gun
