Battery Not Charging light

I have a 2005 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax and my Battery Not Charging light keeps coming on at start up. The dealer told me that according to a recent service bulletin this is normal during cold temperatures. I don't remember but I think the problem started before the temps dropped below freezing.

Any ideas-the vehicle has 29,000 miles and is still under warranty.

  After a month and a half, the dealership finally received and replaced the radio and a module (they didn’t say which module, just that it was cracked and didn’t say if it was found cracked or was cracked during the process). By the time I got home the radio took an update. We will see from here. 🤞

  So I’m still looking at this, and still finding few options. I’m reconsidering now going to a 275/60r22. No additional width, so I think it avoids the upper control arm issue. 35.0” diameter, so 1.1” larger in radius than OEM. So that leaves me with two questions for anyone that may have this setup. 1) Does it fit without any rubbing at full suspension compression? I have no way to measure this. 2) What kind of fuel mileage hit did you take city/highway moving to an E load range tire? I have the 6.2. OEMs are 41#, the Michelins in this size are 59#. That’s a lot more rotational mass.

  That much weight is over double the empty truck. Sure the truck can handle it well, comfortably even, but it significantly increases braking distances regardless of trailer brakes and slows acceleration and adds significant surface area to a wind. "Not noticing it" is a huge exaggeration. I'm sure you feel it every time you stop, change lanes, accelerate or hit a bump.
