Light Duty Truck Diesel

Has anyone heard any news on the turbo diesel that was supposed to be available in '09? I see here they are gearing up for a replacement for the Northstar in '09 but nothing on the diesel.

THe only light duty Diesel I have heard of was a 4.4 liter Turbo Diesel for the F-150. Apparently there was talk a few years ago that it would be available in 06 I believe and now there is talk it will happen possibly in 09 (I think thats what Diesel Power Mag said).

 

But seriously a light duty diesel sure would be nice.
