2007 Sierra Upgrade 6 disc to DVD

I have A 2007 GMC Sierra with the SLT 4SA package. Has bose system and 6 disc in dash changer. I would like to add on the Rear entertainment DVD. From factory the only option in the sierra is the Nav with rear entertainment dvd. In the tahoe an Yukon you can get a rear dvd with out Nav and the radio has the DVD player built into it. I have found a guy who has a radio from a 2007 tahoe with rear entertainment dvd would this plug into the dash of my sierra and then all I need is the roof mounted screen. Also does the sierra have all the wiring in place from factory to add opition such as Nav and dvd player, and xm radio. Thanks.

 

 

Also I want to pull out the 6 disc to look at the back and see what plugs are open. I assume the trim around the radio (brushed metal looking trim) snaps on with the clips. Anyone takin one off yet? With out scrathing the heck out of it.
