99 Sierra Coolant Temperature

I have a '99 Sierra with the tried and true 5.3. A couple of years ago I hit a deer (or the deer hit me depending on your perspective). The Gm dealer in Erie Pa did an awesome job. However from the time it was returned the coolant would never reach a warm temperature. ( The radiator, fan, etc were replaced)

 

I replaced the T-stat recently - No difference.

 

Am I missing something? The stat is the ONLY method of coolant temp control...correct?

You could try replacing the coolant tempature sensor you could be getting a false reading. Very cheap and easy to replace.
