5.3 to 6.0 is it worth it

i have 2005 Yukon I am thinking of swapping the 5.3 engine with 6.0, after the swap supercharging.

or supercharging the 5.3 with other upgrades.

I will PCM tune after any of the changes.

what will be better.

my car is daily driven and summer here reaches very high temps close to 50 degrees centigrade.

I will appreciate your help.

lastly, i use my car for driving in the desert and starting torque is very important my stock car sucks, not enough power and torque.

Thanks

Hell yes its worth it. But. You have GOT to keep in mind you are going to kill your tranny. Extra power from the 6.0, blower and sheer weight of the truck is going to kill it quick! If you have the coin, do the swap.

Radix will be THE best bet for off the line power and ease of installation. Youll want to run 92 and colder heat range plug like the TR6. Good tune will be key here! You can upgrade the heat exchanger also to help with the heat issue and keep the IAT's down at a desirable level.
