Removing AC

I was thinking of getting new belt that would be shorter so as to bypass the AC to gain more power. Would this make any difference or create any more problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it can be done, you will pick up some HP. but you wont have defrost anymore either. pull your AC fuses

With the AC turned off only the clutch pulley spins and removing the belt wont increase even 1 hp if you want about 30 hp get a tune from Jesse
