Magnaflow Vs. MBRP 5" or 4"

I was told that the magnaflow is a better exaust for the GMC tham the MBRP also I want to run turbo back but the local shop said that the new Duramaxs cant take a turbo back I went in told 4" turbo back and left thinking 5" cat back. Will cat back make a difference
